My Last Words ("MLW") lets you record voice messages, keep them in a private vault, and have them delivered to contacts you choose if you stop responding to Life Check for an extended period. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
MLW is not a will, trust, or legal instrument, and delivery of a recording has no legal effect on your estate. For legal matters, consult an attorney. MLW is also not an emergency or medical monitoring service.
We work hard to make delivery reliable, but it depends on factors outside our control: the accuracy of the contact details you provide, your contacts' email and phone service, spam filtering, and network availability. You are responsible for keeping your contacts' information current. MLW cannot guarantee that any particular message will be received.
Vault plans are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically (monthly, or yearly for Perpetual Peace) until cancelled in your device settings. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a completed purchase.
You can delete your account at any time, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
MLW may be legally compelled to disclose information through valid legal process (for example a subpoena or court order). In that event we can only provide what we actually hold, and we limit disclosure to what the law requires. Nothing in these terms is intended to obstruct lawful process.
MLW is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
